Just a reminder! Some of our ladies will be taking a day for good fellowship, good food and great shopping on Wednesday, March 29th. Ladies who are signed up to ride in the church van need to be at the church parking lot at 7am. The van is full, BUT, if you would like to follow us in your own vehicle, please meet us at the same time.
We will visit Ohio Thrift Store in Washington Court House, Ohio to shop for a few hours and then we will have lunch together at The Willow Restaurant.
If you have any questions, please call the church office at 740-385-4136.

This month the Leadership Board and I (Pastor Roland) spent a weekend away at Burr Oak State Park in their lodge. We enjoyed time away as a leadership team praying, studying, training in leadership development, visioning, reflection time, and worshipping. I might add we also had some great food! If you are a Lead Pastor have you taken the opportunity to get away with your Leadership to do this? Is your Leadership on board with the mission of the church? Do they know and support the vision of the church? Do you have at least a 10 year focus and goal to bring the vision to reality? I encourage you to plan a retreat with your team to get away and pray over such things. We came back refreshed, revived, and ready to take on the mission of the church to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to vision for the future.

At HHUMC we want to be remembered for a church that took on a risk taking mission and fully trusted God for the outcome. In order for this to happen we have to have leaders who fully support the mission and vision of the church. I am grateful for our leaders who serve and sacrifice for the church! We are well on our way to being a church that offers real ministry for real life.

What do you want to be remembered for? What does your church want to be remembered for? Remember faithfulness to God is true success.

Starting this Sunday we will be offering a Leadership Trail which is a part of our discipleship strategy in the life of our church. We will be using alot of our leadership development resources to provide you with leadership skills in the church and in your life as well. It's not to late to join just sign up Sunday at church or call the church office at (740) 385-4136 to join in. The Leadership Trail starts this Sunday night at our East Campus (Former Immanuel Church Building) in the Aldersgate room. It lasts for six weeks (excluding Easter Sunday) and runs from 6p.m. to 7:30p.m.
